- Urolithiasis: we are a urological center for the treatment of stones offering a complete range of treatment options (extracorporeal lithotripsy, flexible ureteroscopy - laser, rigid ureteroscopy - pneumatic lithotripsy, percutaneous surgery)

High Intensity Focused Ultrasound or HIFU (ABLATHERM®)

At St. Joseph's Hospital we have Ablatherm®, a device that has been delivering high intensity ultrasound since 2001. It is a current and approved therapeutic alternative for the treatment of localized prostate cancer (focal therapy, complete therapy, recovery after radiotherapy) .

The Urology Department of the Civis Colmar Hospital is made up of a team of 10 people, including 5 qualified surgeons.

Our service deals with male and female urinary disorders. We intervene to treat pathologies related to the prostate (tumor, adenoma), bladder (urinary incontinence, infection, tumor), testicles (tumor, torsion) and kidneys (tumor, stones). Conventional, robotic, endoscopic and ureteral endoscopic procedures for the treatment of these diseases.
